We need more money to pay our coaches and build up our facilities. $3M ain't gonna cut it, while WF/WSU/Vandy/etc gets $25M.

Maybe should have tried not cheating in the 80s and playing football in the 90s.

Maybe you should try finding something better to do, basement boy. Also, cheating advice coming from an SEC fan. Now I've seen everything! Piss off, you taint smoker!

Cheating was part of the game in the SWC. The getting caught was what got us.

Everyone did it (except Rice) everyone got caught (except Arkansas). Everyone paid a price. No one got death for it. (Except SMU) A terrible injustice was done to them considering what others like Penn St, UNC and Miami got away with.
Cheers!

SMU and UH got blasted but nobody cheated like the Horns and Aggies. Aggies got slapped a few times and Horns skated away with a two hour detention.

Hopefully enough students show up to make Navy look good on a Thursday night, but otherwise that's gonna be a stinker crowd and it will only get worse from there.

b0nds are you saying this because you are not going and you are expecting others to act similarly? None if the season ticket holders that I know that I've spoken with are sitting out for any reason. I would think that the majority of season ticket holders will be there as usual. That's quite a few asses in seats plus the students and normal walk up and casual fans that drop in. I don't believe that we will actually drop below 40k. I know my 4 will be there regardless of the record. Thoughts?

I'm saying that in general actual butts in seats attendance goes down at ECU as seasons go on. There are always a good number of no shows later on when it's mostly opponents our fans don't particularly care about. If you start tossing in a bad team that could be out of bowl contention and yeah you absolutely are gonna start having some USF level announced vs actual attendance in the future. Navy would have had a lot of no shows due to it being on a Thursday, but moving that helps. UCONN is homecoming so that probably will still draw well, but if we lose the Cincy and UCONN games I'll guarantee you there won't be a game left on the schedule where 40k actually enter the stadium, and maybe a few where under 30k show up.

Agreed...they are killing it with attendance. Hopefully the rest of us can catch them.

USF's should go back up this week. Home game vs. UConn at a good starting time (7pm). Announced should be about 38-40K.

They have shown up other than the ECU game, which was pathetic, but everyone already knows about that one and the reasons for it (covered extensively in another topic). The other games were pretty well attended.

Imagine what your attendance for Tulane would had been had they played on Saturday.05-nono
