Great job by the players and coaches at Ball State. Man, does it feel great to get a win after all this time. There are still some things to clean up but you can see the potential this team has. It is like night and day with Maddie at the helm. I like how they're rotating Evans and Steckler in at O-line, that seems to be working nicely. DJ Brown is starting to come on little by little too. That is timely since we need another offensive contributor. And a Tommy Mister sighting too! On to Kalamazoo, go Huskies!

Agreed. Great to get a win. Defense shut them down from scoring mostly in 2nd half except when we gave them great field position. We need to control our turnovers, missed fgs and missed wrs in deep open. Left double digit points on the field. Less critical penalties too. Plus we got some sacks and a TO.

I found it interesting that for this game there were almost double the NIU fans in attendance at this game than there were in 2012 when NIU season ticket holders could get the tickets to visiting MAC games for free.

I was mildly shocked by the NIU fans in attendance. Granted a good chunk were families and program insiders but a solid showing

a little rocky at times, and the penalties are still killing us, but having an offense that can keep up with a porous defense is a huge help.

Yesterday morning I put out my Huskie flag in front of the house for the 1st time this year. Last year I switched off with the Cubs flag and look how both teams ended the year. Keeping the Cubs flag in the same spot until their season is over and found a new place for the NIU flag. I apologize for waiting so long.

Yeah, WMU is a playoff team who's only loss on their schedule this year would be if they played Bama, but any other top 25 team they would destroy. Why would NIU fans go to that game?

No worries must be the flag/helmet combo. I pulled my niu helmet out for the first time since the MACC game. Forgot it doesn't work during the post season. My bad, we should be all set now.
