Houston fans might disagree.

This Tigers team has plenty of potential. There were a lot of positives to take from the game. Yeah, you cannot turn the ball over against a quality opponent, but you also cannot let that opponent march down the field in 90 seconds and score.

They can disagree all they want. Ole Miss' offense is better...Houston has played 1 real team & their offense only managed to score 2 TDs in that game. Ole Miss has put up points on Bama and FSU (when FSU was at full health).

Memphis won't face a better offense all year.

We win without the mistakes, although they are indeed part of football. Lucky for them they do not play us next year. Good team, nothing more, not worthy of the continued homage.

Beaten, but not embarrassed

Stop it. OM is one of the best teams in the country (2 losses or not), and Memphis has a new QB, new coach, new system and battled the Rebs in its first road game of the year.

I'm as big a pessimist as you'll find, but even I can give the Tigers credit for playing hard and staying competitive in this one.

The guy has been looking for opportunities to take shots all year. He now thinks he has a sliver.
