Even if we go 12-0 it's going to be a tall task to jump Houston in the rankings.

Are we the only team not to turn the ball over this season? Or is there still another team?

We stand alone; Maryland turned it over yesterday.

No on the being able to wear down the Rockets like BYU, the difference being:

Kalamazoo elevation 784'
Provo elevation 4,551'

1400 meters is considered low altitude. Impact on performance at that level is minor and overstated.

Wrong, it's a real impact on performance late in the game. Very real.

Been an impact to visiting teams to Provo and similar Mt. region cities for years. If you watched the game, you could see it real time, PR.

Hey I wasn't around when we last went 5-0 to start the season in 94 I believe but how's this season any different/compare so far?

CBS Sports broadcast kept saying that it was Houston, San Diego State, and WMU as the top 3 G5 teams in the country. Well, SDSU got blown out by South Alabama last night. SDSU was a 19.5 point favorite!!

Their loss: to a now 2-3 BYU team (in fairness to BYU, they've played a tough schedule, but they appear to be mediocre at best).

I would say "Cue BocaRocket with a response," but it appears he's already beaten me to it...

Yes Toledo and the "sleeper" game. Not sure who it will be, Ball St? EMU? I'm defing sleeper as that game WMU does not come to play. Instead of winning by 21 it's tight into the 4th

I think the best chance we got is Houston winning out and making the playoffs and we win out and get into the access bowl.

One step at a time.

We have lost to NIU seven years in a row.

Can't run the table if you're thinking too many shots ahead.

Beat the Huskies, period.

Akron can not be overlooked. I watched them play a bit, and they look good. Certainly capable of upsetting anyone in the MAC. Nothing can be taken for granted in this league.

If -- IF -- Houston finishes in the selection committee's top four, that would be the Group of 5's only representation in the New Year's Six Bowls this year, according to CFP executive director Bill Hancock. The highest-ranked Group of 5 conference champion is guaranteed a spot in a NY6 Bowl -- but just one spot.

Yep. Basically we'd need Houston to lose in the AACC game or even have just 1 loss to a conference division opponent who also has 1 loss but they win the tie-breaker to go to the AACC game.

You're out of consideration if you don't make it to the conference champ game or don't win it.

WMU would need to go 13-0 and basically have Houston either crumble or be a 2L team.

Best WMU team I've personally followed, football OR basketball.

Completely agree!

Regular season table - Perfect! Looking for 14-0. The 2016 is not just the best WMU team in history', but one of the best MAC teams ever.

CONGRATS BRONCOS!

I think all MAC fans are kindred really, that sense of being an underdog but at the same time understanding the magnitude and quality of div. one football
