Love this event. Somehow Sergio who can't be clutch enough to win a major always comes to play for the RC. Reed is a beast.

Holmes had a great individual effort and Kuch/Phil partnership worked really well today.

Had to lol a bit when I saw that start...then the 2nd match too? Wow, it's like the Reds starting the game with Chapman! Love Reed vs Mac. Speith was carried by Reed but I like how he will be watching one group behind Reed.

i actually don't like the way the matchups align for the US. i can easily seem them losing the first 4. i like both Johnsons, Kuch and Snedecker to win. Sergio vs. Phil, Walker v. Bello and Westwood v. Moore are all toss ups imo, although i feel better about Moore against Westwood. Spieth and Fowler need to up their games.

Forgot Koepka. Like him slightly more then Willett.

Europe doing what you should do when you're down; putting your best guys out right away. The way McIlroy and Reed have played it probably takes 65 to win that match. If Stenson's knee isn't too sore he beats Spieth. Pieters and Rose look like wins for Europe. After that I think it looks pretty good for us most of the Europeans after the top 4 haven't played great.

This event is so entertaining.

Hopefully the US can find a way to win one today. It's been way too one-sided.

I think US depth gives them the W today ao long they expect Europe to make an early charge and they manage the momentum swing

i tried looking this up and couldn't find anything. i think the selection process is blind to the opponent, each team sets a lineup and they paired up against their counterpart after the selections are turned into Ryder Cup officials.

Sorry i found the answer and edited. Each captain submits their order blind, so Europe stacked the top to give them a chance

Reed and McIlroy all square after one. Speith on the fairway and Stenson way left in the second matchup

Walker and Moore are likely to lose their match up. Phil/Sergio is still up in the air, but i like the rest for the US. Never say never but i'm optimistic

Rose chokes. Ricky gets the full point. i didn't think Fowler would pull through.

Garcia and Phil halve the point. if not for Reed/McIlroy, this would have generated way more buzz. US up 13 - 10. 1.5 pts away from the US recapturing the cup.

Snedecker is guaranteed a half. Ryan Moore square with Westwood. This is awesome.
