Toledo
They look like they stole the San Diego Chargers alternate uniform concept from about 10 years ago.

Toledo can wear whatever unis they want if they have a passing offense this potent each time. The QB they have is fun to watch. He has great pocket awarness. He can throw a moderately deep out route. He puts just the right amount of air under deep balls. He can spin the magic bean indeed.

Great game! This is why College Football is superior to the pros in aesthetics.

BYU is definitely the best 2-3 team in the nation. Tough stretch for a new coach to start with.

GTS,

We should open a board for the independents.

RE: Toledo
Toledo's offense pretty much had its way with the BYU defense. Fortunately their defense gave a little more than ours did. This team is turning me gray. Definitely was worth watching every second. BYU coaches managed the clock much better this game than in some previous games. Yeah, tonight's targeting is pretty indisputable. He came in too high on the tackle (helmet to facemask). No brainer. The good thing is it didn't seem to phase Woodside. It did feel like he was showing off a little to bounce the snap off his body, find the ball rolling around on the ground, pick it up and throw it to a receiver for the 2-pt conversion. 03-wink

Being the best 2-3 team is like being the valedictorian of summer school. But wow, their schedule was tough enough without Toledo rising up to be a good team.

Woodside: 30-38 505 yards, 5 TD. You don't see those numbers all the time.

We won't show you our Pink uniforms.

Seems BYU only plays Utah State and Boise State a lot lately. Boise State have beaten BYU before. So, Boise would be a tough game like last year.

BYU-BSU signed a 12 year annual series starting back in 2012 and so far the home team has won each of the 4 matchups--and this year is on the blue turf. Utah State is signed through 2020 (alternating H/H). In 2017, BYU will complete previous series with San Jose State, Fresno State, and UNLV and start a new series with Hawaii (2017-18).

BYU has a chance to make a Huge Statement @Michigan State. Just not sure if they have the strength to get the W.

But that's only 4 teams, and all 4 are in separate leagues for non-football.

If BYU had a better coach, I could see the upset.

We have enough fans for all 4 teams. Plus, none of those non-football leagues (except for the ACC) have a board.

Both of these offenses were good, but they were helped out by both defenses being very suspect

West Virginia is wearing a uniform combo today that looks very much like what Toledo wore Friday night. WVU - KSU is on ESPNU right now.
