Miami beats OU in three sets yesterday, extending our ten-game winning streak and pushing us to 11-4 overall. Massey ratings put us at 50th in the nation, with NIU next at 72. Those same ratings have us with at least a 95% chance to win 9 of our 12 remaining games, with at least a 70% chance in those remaining three.

Women's volleyball may well replace women's basketball someday as the preeminent women's NCAA sport.

Wouldn't be so sure! Carolyn Condit has been at Miami for a whopping 33 years, we're keeping up our dynasty. 03-wink

I've always tried to make this point.. I think it is a way more entertaining sport than women's basketball.

Totally agree. Women's court volleyball is a lot of fun to watch. Constant moving and scoring.

There was a time (70's-late 80's) before Pat Summit, when WMU was was one of the best programs in the country, volleyball was followed more than women's basketball..

NIU won the MAC championship in Dekalb against Miami, although we got an at-large bid. Huskies play Mizzou, Redhawks against Oregon.

Congratulations to Miami, who deserved it, and to the MAC, which deserves it.

But it's hard for me not to think of deserving Ohio teams that weren't awarded a bid.
