That is to be expected on a week night game when there is school and work the next day and you don't want to be stuck in traffic for another hour at the end of a game. This is especially true in a large city like Houston that depends a lot on commuter students and support within the city.

I think the 'hate' is actually ridicule, and it is directed at the earlier threads that stupidly criticized our fans for 38k in the stands against Bowling Green 03-idea

If you want to see a poor crowd, turn on the Virginia at Duke game. Perfect looking weather, and it looks like about 10k in the stands. It's homecoming too.
