Rex Hughes was quite a character. He had a volatile temper. I remember one game where he got a technical from the ref in the first few SECONDS of the game.

Just saw this tweet: Oregon State, at 2-8, is 347th out of 351 in the RPI. Even for mid-Dec RPIs, that's beyond dreadful and likely a record for a Big Six team.

I'm not sure I see any better than an 8-10 or 9-9 MAC team.

Very flawed team. Staff appears to still be searching for a rotation which with so many new guys I'm not sure 3/4's of the team knows their role. And Hall and J Walker are our best scorers but I think their shot selections are both very poor. They force too much and get easily frustrated when things aren't going their way.

I still think Peterson's length on perimeter can cause issues. I'm not sure why you start him but then play him 6-8 minutes and none in 2nd half??

Yes - it looks good, playing PAC-12 and Big-12 teams, but looking at the Sagarin rankings, they're both at the bottom of their conferences
