Oh, it's even better than that. You can pay for your kids to get their education AND somebody else, then guess what? If your kids are even moderately successful, as in two incomes = 125/yr, they too can now pay for others for the next 50-60 years.

Well that sums it up, I guess my kids are going private. There's no way I'd qualify, this is just another attempt by the left to widen the divide between the have and the have nots.

Well $125k was a stupid point to drive the wedge. I would imagine most married suburbanites make more than that.
That's why I say the divorce rate will increase. The gain from "free college" should far exceed the different tax status (single v. married filing jointly) hit for such couples.
Just another reason to have more kids born and raised out of wedlock, with a huge financial incentive to do so.

Yep, when the time comes, 14 years or so down the road I'd have to divorce my wife (if she hasn't broken the $125 barrier by then) and have her claim the kids. Then four to six years later, re-marry. But by that time I'd still want my kids in private colleges. After a decade of this freebie, public universities will be watered down by gov't control and the education from them will have no value, they'll be the new community colleges and, as I said, the divide will widen between the haves and have nots (democratic playbook if I ever saw one)

Last ditch effort to reel in young people to the fold. She is truly a despicable human being. No way in hell will that ever happen...any more than Trump will build a wall. Both are nothing more than pandering POS.
Austin experimented with free public transportation. People were hopping on and riding it for a block. It brought the whole system to the breaking point and degraded service for everyone. They didn't continue the experiment for long.
That is exactly what would happen with free college education. It would destroy one of the great advantages the US has.
Yep, she's just lying about something she doesn't believe can be done to get the votes of stupid people who have "a deep desire to believe that we can have free college, free healthcare".
But hey, if we didn't have people with deep desires to believe, re: believe the liars, we wouldn't have either current candidate.
