Apparently some people are having second thoughts and blaming the president for allowing it to get passed. (Reminder he vetoed the bill)

Let's keep this in mind since what Obama has said is that this sets a dangerous precedent.

After this, look for the United States to be sued by foreigners.

When his own party votes against him to override him, then its his fault. He should have spent some time over the past month or so talking to the public and lawmakers about exactly why this isnt a good idea, and the alternatives that would be better.

He didnt do that. Thats on him. It was a bi-partisan override.

I love it. The man vetos the bill, it gets overridden, but it's still his fault it got passed.

Obama is not a leader. A leader would have handled this differently so the public isnt getting blind-sided with this issue just prior to being voted on.

The way he handled it makes it look like he doesnt want anyone taking money from his friends, the Saudis.

It's staggering. Congress wrote the bill, passed the bill, it was vetoed by the president and they overrided the bill. Now some are havign second thoughts and the bill passing is "Obama's Fault." There is literally nothing people on the right won't blame this man for.

Congress chooses when the bill comes to a vote, Congress chooses to vote on it. On the list of insane things I've seen the president get blamed for this might be the stupidest.

Why are the democrats having second thoughts? Did they not read it before they voted on it? If the president thought this was a really bad idea, why didnt he take to the airwaves to make his case? Why didnt he make calls to congress to explain his position? Did his cell phone get the hammer when they were destroying Hillary's devices?

He's not a leader. Leaders dont sit back and do nothing, then get butthurt when it doesnt go their way.

RE: Senate votes to override Obama veto on 9/11 bill
This doesn't look good for congress. They blamed the POTUS for being too involved in it. Then he vetoed it. Then the overturned it. Now they're saying they didn't know enough about it before they took a stance, forbidden to flip flop for fear or being a flip flopper, and so now they're blaming POTUS for not being more aggressive and giving them enough info... this is just a glaring example of the problems with our politicians.

Where in there does it say he picked up his phone and called congress, or where he took this case to the american people? It doesnt. What it says he did was to get on a plane and head for Riyad. And thats the take away from this; it appears Obama is more concerned that the Saudis will have to pony up some money than the americans who lost loved ones due to a terrorist attack sponsored and carried out by Saudis.

RE: Senate votes to override Obama veto on 9/11 bill
Republicans have already seen the error of their ways and are considering "fixing" the bill to limit actions to 9/11 only.

Senator Schumer, the scumbag puppet of the lawyers trial bar, wants the bill to apply to all future terror attacks.
