Bad move IMO. Can't expect the losing fans to be too enthusiastic about spending the money for a visit to the same city less than a month after the first visit.

While it's true that the Coastal Champion can fall no further than Orlando. Nothing prevents UNC, Miami, or VT from requesting another option and I can see an agreement being made with the Gator Bowl or Music City Bowl to trade teams to prevent a return trip, despite what the official bowl pecking order says.

I would expect Clemson and Louisville to finish 12-1 or 13-0. One will go to the playoff, the other to the Orange Bowl. If FSU holds it in the road and beats Miami and the Coastal loser is Miami, VT, or UNC, that loser will probably be no better than 10-3.

Send FSU to Orlando for either the Citrus or Russell. Send the Coastal loser to the Gator Bowl in Jacksonville if it's Miami, or send them to Nashville if UNC or VT.

This scenario might not come to pass, but if you were the AD at VT or UNC and had just had your ass whipped by the Atlantic champ, Nashville would probably go over better with your fans unless you were already in Florida.

If a Big Ten school gets the invite to the Orange Bowl, a strong possibility this year, we could be sending two schools bowling to Orlando.

I'm not overly ecstatic about the choice but it is a safe pick. I would prefer it go to Nashville!

I'm interested to see how they handle tickets that have already been purchased. Will you automatically get tickets for the Orlando game? Do you have the option of a refund if you can't make it to Orlando? Will you still get those Bojangles' gift cards?!? :)

It should have been the home stadium of the higher ranked team.

Now we risk crapping on one of the better bowl bids (Citrus) by sending a team and a highly disappointed fan base right back there a month later.

And the ACC has shown a penchant for not placing two (or even any) Florida schools in the title game and poorly attending said title game when it is held at a neutral site in the state of Florida.

Fail.

Like the ACC was gonna send the game to Washington, DC...

Orlando is a good choice. Actually, it was always the ONLY logical choice.

We need Bojangles back in Louisville. Popeyes is good but not as good as Bojangles.

Poor decision if true.
This year's game should have never been moved out of Charlotte. The threat to move next years game should have been enough to make a point, but playing politics is not becoming to an athletic conference.

Isn't the SEC skipping the Belk Bowl?

^^^ THIS ^^^. Atlanta is taken, and anything north of Charlotte is a real weather risk unless you go indoors -- and I don't think Syracuse was an option.

Indianapolis might've been OK except it's also taken. St. Louis is too far away. No choice but Florida.

The Panthers didn't move their games.
The Hornets will play their season in Charlotte.
Pre-season Hornets game in Greensboro
Hornets D-League team in Greensboro (the Swarm) still playing their season
All of the North Carolina ACC teams are playing out their seasons at home.

Playing politics, pure and simple.

Moving a sports franchise or a university isn't exactly apples to apples with moving a conference postseason site.
