BGSU should just admit they made a big mistake hiring a coach with almost zero experience or credentials and fire the guy already.

He wasn't hired into a rebuild job because coaches were failing and getting fired.

He was hired to a winner whose coaches keep getting hired away due to their success.

RE: BGSU
This reminds me of when Ohio hired Brian Knoor without making a national coaching search.

Its a problem for BG with Akrons program getting established and other new staffs in the East making moves. They better watch falling through the trap door.

How much and how many years is his contract? Maybe use the buyout money that Syracuse had to pay to take Babers as their coach.

No different than cmu hiring Dan Enos. Bad hires are made, sets a program back 4 yrs, such is life in the MAC, happens to every winning program eventually

Five years $2.05M. Buyout if he leaves before Dec 2017 of $300K.

The current AD didn't hire Jinks. Prior AD left in the spring for the - for lack of a better term - private sector.

Not sure if much can be done. I'm not sure if the big donors are tapped out from the big capital campaign.

Many unknowns except one: we will have Jinks for the remainder of the season. It's going to be an ugly slide.
