Globalists in Retreat - HRC backers should take note
There is definitely a nationalist backlash being seen not only here but in the world itself. Although it's supposedly "globalism", it's really more of an echo chamber for the First World members. Sure, 3rd world people are part of the group, but they're predominantly recipients of welfare from the First World, so their ideas really don't amount to dick. It's the truth. This phenomenon is having a more profound effect on the U.S. elections than Bernie forcing Hillary to make a "sharp left".

Quote:Last week, the globalists had a big family reunion in New York. The gathering was focused on the United Nations General Assembly, but a growing array of side conferences and summits and dinners also attracted concerned internationalists of every stripe: humanitarians, leaders of nongovernmental organizations, donors, investors, app peddlers, celebrities.

But an absence haunted the week. Almost by definition, nationalists and localists are underrepresented at these global gatherings. Their paucity was especially notable this time, because the rising signs of nationalism — whether in the form of Donald J. Trump’s winning the Republican nomination, the British vote to leave the European Union, or the German backlash against Angela Merkel’s welcome to refugees — hovered like a specter over many of the discussions.

Nationalism is the future and will aid every country -- especially 3rd world and developing nations. These nations have been forced forward by the west; ignoring that these nations and peoples had underlying causes that made them inferior to us technologically and economically. By pulling inward we allow these nations to grow at their own pace and to use systems of government that work better for their own peoples (capitalist-democracy isn't one-size-fits-all).
