I don't disagree from an on-field standpoint, but not a chance in a million years if Mitch is making the hire. He has passed on a couple name coaches interested in the job, that UK would have done extremely well to get, because they aren't choir-boy types, he'd rather have a loser he can take to Rotary meetings than try to improve the program which should be in much better shape than it is.

Some talk going on that heavy-money boys are interested in booting Stoops and making a play for Les Miles, wouldn't that be something.

I think Miles could do wonders for Kentucky. I'm not sure he could get them up to championship level football, but they'd be competitive more often than not and would at least be a perennial bowl team.

What got Miles fired was him being stuck in his ways. Maybe if he got a new lease on life then he might be more willing to shift with the times.
