NAVY (20-45) Navy went 11-2 last year
at Houston (34-35) UH AAC West and AAC Champs
at Temple (12-31) AAC East Champs

The team that beat Mississipi was not the same as the team suffering the defeats. The coaching situation was a distraction. The only question is the degree it contributed to the losses.

Houston may do a great job of handling the distractions or have sufficent talent to render the distractions moot, but it is present IMO.

if Jake Elliot doesnt push that last field goal 2 feet right the Houston game is a Memphis win
