And I think we have only 2 sacks in 4 games. Tough to be successful on defense when they're not pressuring the QB, not causing turnovers and tacking poorly.

The tackling is the most visible, man it's bad. Yes, a lot of that is coaching, but man, you have to put some of that on the players as well, they look scared in some instances to make contact. Put your b*lls back on and make a play.

I don't know what the team's pregame ritual/schedule is, but they should stop it, change it completely, because it doesn't work. They start the game as the most dead, non-exciting, careless team I've watched in recent memory

Guess what? If the team had a good QB, O-line, defense, played smart and avoided getting the yellow flags dirty, had decent coaches who could call decent plays, and had some heart, enthusiasm, and desire, we'd be 4-0 now! Unfortunately, none of these exist. Think it will all of a sudden show up against a much-improved MAC?

What we did to most of the MAC the last 5-6 years is about to be done to us. We're going to get run roughshod over and its going to be painful to watch.

Since most of our conference losses the past few years were to Central, maybe they'll go easier on us than the others.

Correct. 123rd in the nation in sacks/game. http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/c...eam/466/p3

I don't have much faith in this team right now (although maybe more than some others), but I don't think we'll get blown out much in the MAC, maybe can see it with WMU, but that's it. Am I afraid we're going to lose A LOT more? Yes, but I think they'll be mostly close games. I see a whole lot more of being down by 7 for the final drive, and then getting to the 50 and failing on 4th down with a crappy play.

This team has shown zero ability to make the big play when needed. Which is insane, because that was the calling card of NIU in the MAC up until mid-November last year.

I think WMU/Toledo/CMU could all be blowouts, Ball State POSSBILY a blowout depending on the mental state of a team. Luckily we miss Akron or I think that would get ugly real quick-like

Yes, any game could be a blowout...any game ever! I'm saying I don't think they will be. Do you think they will will or they won't?
