Better hope the protests settle down by then.
I'll be there Sat., been to their campus many times. I'ts in the north part of the city, quite a ways from downtown. The football stadium was built at level ground, so it's not noticeable until you get close, nice look to it. Campus has changed quite a bit in the past few years.
Please Tell us about parking.
Your parents should have had that talk with you a long time ago.
That was so long ago I had forgotten what you were talking about. I seem to remember now some very fun parking places.

I had no idea what that joke was about. I was like "so, is there limited spacing? places where people get tickets? what?!" ohhhh.... parking. I get it.

We need 5 more wins to be bowl eligible, right?

4 more...you only need 6 wins to go bowling.
I'll take 5 more wins though!

I feel better with 7 wins. Per conference regulations, all teams with seven or more wins shall be placed into conference bowls prior to any other bowl eligible teams without a winning record (i.e. 6-6 record).

RE: Game 5 in Bowl Quest (2-2): Charlotte
We should be favored against Charlotte, UTEP, and FIU. Maybe even against UMass at home. FAU is a wash, but there is a potential for 5 more wins right there.
I would like to also see us knock off one of the "big boys" of our conference. Marshall seems to be the most likely candidate.

I would feel better with 7 wins too. Don't forget last year that there weren't even enough 6-6 teams to fill all the spots. 3 teams were in with losing records. I'm not 100% positive, but I think there is even one more bowl game this year than last so there will be 82 teams going to a bowl.

They are and I believe always have been, but the reason why some P5 schools are beginning to shy away from FCS games is because it does nothing for them in regards to the CFP. If they win, they were supposed to and if they lose, they can kiss the chance of being selected goodbye

A college football team must win six games when playing a 12-game schedule, seven games if playing a 13-game season or must be the champion of its conference for bowl eligibility
The win total may include one Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) opponent, provided that school hands out a minimum of 56.7 scholarships. Teams with two or more wins over FCS schools must win an additional game for each FCS win.

I was talking about the College Football Playoff which has lead to some P5 programs to stop scheduling FCS schools because it isn't an impressive win and can be an embarassing loss, unless you were continuing off of my first sentence in response to Petey

Sorry, you are correct. That is the reason that the B1G has initiated a policy of no FCS games once all existing contracts have been fulfilled. I suspect other conferences will follow.

I believe that you can have one FCS win count towards Bowl eligibility and no more.

Thanks 78'!
So based on your description, and correct me if I'm wrong...
It appears that a team that wins 12 games against FCS teams mathematically cannot qualify for a bowl?
Therefore, these guys will never qualify for a bowl? that makes me sad!
