Don't worry stAte fans, you only play like crap when the rest of the conference is counting on you to help our image. You'll probably put it all together just in time for our game and throw all over us and the rest of the conference.

I know stAte is having a down year (or so it appears) and we aren't firing on all cylinders either but I have to think both teams will be up for this game. Go Eagles!

Some of our fans are idiots. We are third in the nation in total rushing yards. We are also completing 13% more of our passes and passing for almost 100 yards more per game. We had to replace 3 really good guys on the oline. I'm guessing a lot of fans wouldn't mind their team running for 320 yards and passing for 150 yards per game.

Wmu is a good team. Turnovers flipped to our side this year, as that is what got them beat in Statesboro last year.

I'm calling it right now. App will be a 10 point favorite in Statesboro and be in a dog fight all night. Every year one team looks clearly superior in this series the other one wins or gives them all they want.

Back to the topic at hand, Ark St. gets a sense of urgency in the "off" week but loses to GS by 7 in a high scoring affair.

Nobody is arguing against these stats. We just look incredibly sloppy and poorly managed.

WMU is a good team, and the turnovers definitely didn't help. But I saw the same issues this week that I saw the first 3 week, and that is poor O-line play. I don't know if it's because of the scheme, the technique they are being taught, or whatever else it could be, but they are not run blocking at a level anywhere near what they were last year, and that is alarming for a team that is going to run the ball MOST of the time. Yes, we ended up with a lot of rushing yards, but the execution has a lot of room for improvement, and after 4 weeks I don't know if that is going to happen.

This is sad, the best part of being a fan is smack talking and instead of having fun everyone is having a pity party! I've waited since GS joined and spoke of their excellence on here for this game and I'll be darned to lose a week and a half of good smack talk because the team isn't doing good.

I'm not sure how we lost to UCA but I'm fine with our first win coming from the eaglets!

Nonsense. Seminole Indian hasn't attended an Arkansas State game in over a decade.

Coming from Statesboro to Jonesboro for this. I know attendance will suck, but it will be fun. See you there.

You definitely haven't seen our offense this year then. We just haven't been able to break the long runs like we have in the past. The passing game is much improved but the run game is a complete question mark

When Breida isn't being utilized in any way other than to take a hand off up the middle, you know there are problems.

I imagine many of those are inflated because of the Savannah State game.

Breida has rolled on folks up the middle.

He's been a great IZ runner....at least until this year.

How does he do against defenses that have no arms?

I think it's a combination of the players you lost and the play calling, but someone with Brieda's speed needs to be moved around to get the ball into his hands. Good coaches find ways to get their best players involved.

This, it is obvious folks are keying on him up the middle. IMO Ramsby has been better going up the middle and off tackle. We need to get Breida in space. He is the fastest RB on the team and we continue to want to use him as a battering ram for some reason.

Since the Belt season is now starting for stAte I expect we'll see a different team from here on out. I think I'll just grab some popcorn for this one.
