Les Miles doesn't need our money or our problems. He pretty much will have the pick of any open jobs he wants. Guessing LSU has some offset language in his contract but he may go the 'ol urban meyer route and work with the media.

This is a bigger pipe dream than the Big XII

Any other team that made a BCS bowl then 4 years removed can't beat a FCS team would be fired.

So now there's less Miles.

He doesn't need it. LSU has to buy him out to fire him. Just like we have to buy out Carey to get rid of him. Les Miles will probably make $2+ million a year without being a head coach. Anything NIU gives him is just gravy.

LSU is likely to steal another P5s head coach or take Houston's, maybe even hire Art Briles

They won't offer, they high rollers won't allow it, AD would not think of it base would rebel and program would tumble.

That's the problem with this AD. Doesn't raise the bar high enough, always settling.

No Reason we can't get Urban Meyer and then join a real conference like the SEC. B10 I heard offered, but thankfully NIU turned them down.
