He started his best quarterback when he had a broken arm...I think we know how he wouldve handled this one.

Unless you've forgotten where Kiel was before he came here, apparently he couldn't cut it with BK, either.
Like they say, when you complain about a series of bad roommates, maybe you're the bad roommate.

No. See Les Miles thread. Besides, I'll never let go how he left the program. I get ND was his dream job but after going through that and the Butch Jones fiasco, time to move on to greener, younger pastures.

Yep, definite risk he'd be Tuberville Redux, talented coach who burnt out at the top level and is looking for an easy retirement check.
His personality is not the type that takes a job to collect a check before retirement. He just isn't that type of guy.

100% agree and I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Like someone else said, it worked out well for UL.

Sigh...I want to agree. But look at what's happening at Louisville, and I do find myself, from time to time, wishing BK was back on our sidelines.

No kidding. UL is he golden example of what can happen when you forgive the smokin hot chick that dumped you for the rich kid and then wanted to come back to you after it didn't go well.

It would be a glorious road trip. We'd swing over to Three Floyds for a steak and some Zombiedust.

What makes everyone feel Brian Kelly wants us? He's tasted the big time. Petdicko fell hard from grace and landed at Western Kentucky. Not too many programs were looking him up after the Arkansas scandal. It's also about economics. What is Louisville paying Petdicko? $3-4 million base pay? Kelly can land at a USC type job and make good money in a bigger athletic department budget. He ain't coming here guys.

It also worked out because UL is in the ACC, has deep pockets, and has no shame.

True, but bringing back BK would be waaaaaay different than bringing back Bobby Petrino.

The hope is that after tasting the big time, he's fed up with all the pressure that being at a school like Notre Dame can cause, and decides he would rather come back to the school where the stakes aren't as high. Imagine what he could do here with all the improvements in the AD...and then a move to the Big 12?

Not likely, sure, but it's always possible.

One could argue that didn't turn out too well for them.

I'm fairly certain going 12-0 with a conference championship and less than a second away from a National Championship wasn't too bad of a result...

Before I can answer, I need to know if UC uses scissor-lifts to film practices.

Yeah, he was so pleased with our 12-0 season that he packed up and left for South Bend before our Sugar Bowl appearance. Kelly screwed our guys after they worked their butts off to bolster his reputation, and it's karma if he gets fired from his dream job. I wouldn't want him back, and I sure wouldn't want to see the mess on our sidelines when his big red Irish face explodes.

You guys enjoy your Uhaul. I'll be eating caviar and sipping champagne with BK and doss in a NetJet.
