Marshall has beat an FCS team this year. As of right now, there isn't much that can be said for beating them. Arkansas State has a bunch of transfers as well and are right now only three points ahead of UCA and 0-3. At this point, App got lucky that Akron doesn't play defense, otherwise this very easily could've been a loss.

Akron's offense is good enough to win, at least, six games. They'll be in an I score-you score mindset all year, but they're definitely a bowl team.

I think they can make a bowl, especially in what is looking to be a down year for the MAC.

Full disclosure: last week I expected App to lose, though it was the most anticipated game in Boone's football history so of course I wasn't going to go quietly into that good night.

Akrons offense is really good ecspecially against a questionable secondary. What I saw was a team that made adjustments coming into the game and during ,defense and offense . In my opinion this is as big a win as e could of had ,needed it to get momentum and we did just that .

Good job App after what Akron did to Marsha last week I wasn't sure you guys would pull it out.

Its been awhile since App played successful video game football. I will certainly take the road win. Now got to get ready for a well rested GaSt team that certainly played Wisconsin better than MichSt. Secondary play has got to get better but the o-line sure looked good and the passing game made a welcome appearance.
