Them clean it with salt and hot water. Maybe I can buy it from you guys if you win tonight! I'm in need of a good iron skillet.
You can't wash them. If you have a third cousin that's a welder he can clean them with a torch and vegetable oil. So I've been told. I have one from my great grandmother with my fishing boy quilt that is over 100 years old.... but I digress

Cut a potato and rub aroound it then wash in some dawn. Oil it up and stick it back in the oven for an hour.
When my mom died she specified who was to get which skillet. One i inherited has almost no sides. It is a pancake cooking monster.
It's just seasoned well as they say

Smu O looked horrible.
I think it demoralized the D late in the game.

100% spot on. Once Davis went down, this season's purpose as a proving ground to season the youth for next season's push for results and growth was amplified. This includes Hicks in as QB. We are seeing that he either isn't mentally ready, or doesn't possess the tools that many thought he had. Doesn't help that we are still without our starting RB and are now missing multiple line players on both sides of the ball.

The defense has really shown up after last seasons debacle. The offense has definitely taken a rather large step back with the required inclusion of Hicks at QB. They will improve and will surprise at least a few teams in conference play. I can confidently say with great comfort, however, that this season will lay a much more stable and dynamic foundation for the program growth that will really kick in next season and will truly be seen in 2018. While we're paying for playing a kid who is definitely not yet ready, we are also playing young guys on both sides of the ball who will take this experience and use it next year. It's a gain...even if that is a painful gain.

SMU announced a crowd of 30,987.

Seems legit.

SMUs D is solid, they desperately need the offense to keep drives going though in order to keep the D fresh. Sutton is still a beast and i didnt think Hicks was terrible. He is still very inexperienced in the college game and did seem to get out of sorts when things didnt go his way.

I like the direction Morris has SMU heading though.

Hicks is the future at SMU.

I've been following his career since he committed to Tony Levine. I remember the excitement of SMU fans when they got him. I am happy he ended up at SMU.

He just doesn't fit the mold of a Tom Herman quarterback. Glad you took him. He can do well at SMU. It just takes time.

Hicks isn't likely the future. We have better sitting out for his transfer year, and better coming in next year. He'll have to really step it up to even have a chance, but Morris will give him that chance.

RE: Battle for the Iron Skillet
yeah - I will be stunned if hicks is our QB next year. Davis will have a last year, Brewer is a superstar and we have the ex arkansas transfer. Get your shots in now.
