I love my city and Memphis will always be home...

But... I moved to Oregon last year and have really enjoyed the change. Plus, these PNW women love those southern accents

Kinda harsh........I don't live in Memphis & haven't for years but I love the city & our university. Sometimes life gets in the way and influences the decisions related to where you live - but it doesn't speak to the loyalty of a person to his roots.

Same here. Sometimes moving to get a job in your field trumps where your heart may want to be.

He has "Millville" on his front door. Millville is a nickname for Millington used by younger Millingtonians.

I read the article yesterday and it seems like his attraction to this place is that all the townspeople treat him like just an ordinary Joe, not sure that would be the case in Memphis or Millington.

I think his parents still have their house in Shelby Forrest, I'm not sure if they still live there full time or not but I think they still own it. In the past if you happened to be at the General Store at the right time you might just run into him.
