Good story except that, according to the UT site, Hollman is a So. and played in 2 games last year, recording 2 tackles against EMU.

Five pass break ups so far is impressive.

After three games, UT is 14th in pass defense efficiency.

Very happy with the way the secondary and LBs are playing in pass defense. Only been a few times I can remember a receiver being pretty open in some blank space in our coverage, and that's going to happen every now & then when the opponent calls the right play at the right time. Otherwise our guys are usually on great position and limit yardage gained if the ball is caught.

So far the defense has far exceeded my expectations going into the season. However, not to be a Debbie Downer or anything, but in retrospect they may not have faced any outstanding offenses yet this year. We should know a lot more after next week's game.
