Clearly the violence is being caused by a handful of people. Even people on this forum who do not agree with BLM have said that they are outsiders who are being brought in to start riots.

If you're endorsing a criminal activity by inactivity, you're not being part of trying to stop the problem, you're aiding and abetting in the continuation of the problem (in this case the riots).

Is it dangerous to step up and say 'enough is enough'? Sure.. but sometimes you have to do what is right, rather than just let it go on.

The protestor who jumped in on the fire video is one of those GOOD examples... but how many people just stood around were going to let it happen?

Or the guy that kicked the homeless man.. listen to the video, you can hear people in the background laughing about it.

You're right, I shouldn't have said "no" protestors.. but I will say that from what I see, the protestors are in the -vast- minority at this point.

Heck, even the family of Michael Brown at least stepped up and basically tried to say "STOP THIS" when the violence was getting bad... It didn't do much good unfortunately, but they did try.

Perhaps each of us in our own cities need to be those people because from what I can see, those who are lighting fires and hurting people are not part of the solution but neither are the people who are claiming they are going to go full camo and take matters into their own hands.

Who is making that statement? So far, I haven't seen those type of videos/comments yet other than the leftist mob extremists (and the people who have gone out of their way to specifically target police officers)

Mr Scott did not own a gun based on his attorney's statement and he also revealed that Mr Scott's wife witnessed the shooting.

You DO NOT need to own a gun to HAVE a gun.

RE: Wow! Live Fox interview of protestor in NC
just would like to share this humorous and relevant story which just happened to me. i can get long winded so bear with me. i was walking back from harvesting some peppers from one of our community gardens. many plots were abandoned, as a result, the earth had reclaimed mine. there was some semblance of a garden. but i was prepared. long pants long shirt. shitkickers and a bandanna across my face. bugspray. one tall boy rolling rock. grass. anyways, so i left the experience pretty high and most of the peppers weren't ripe. i finished the tall boy and it occurred to me i had only gone there to get f*cked up.

anyways. i was wearing a long white hiking shirt, one of those unbelievable patagonia products. the evening sun was in my eyes and unbearable even in the fashionable red woman's shades. i ducked down a street for a reprieve which offered opportunities of waltz in an alley which led to my house. however, i walked down a street too soon missing the alley, so i had to walk an extra few blocks. pity me not my good sir for i am staunchly in the corner of the modern pedestrian. but nay, that is not the subject du joir

i approached the dive bar a block from my house and through the fashionable attire adorning my eyes, which i mentioned earlier, i discerned a quaggle of young black men all wearing white. they were taking up the sidewalk and i grew a tad nervous even though i knew everything was going to be fine. thankfully i get a little paranoid when i'm high.

in this situation (any quaggle) you have to acknowledge the group who's turf you're rolling thru, so i decided to make some quip about being late to the white shirt meeting. one dude was staring straight at me probably thinking, "what the f*ck's this white boy wearing an orange bandanna around his neck, carrying a bucket doing, about to step to me?" and i said, "did i miss the white shirt meeting gentlemen?" they were a little confused, so i grabbed my shirt. "white shirt, like y'all." they said this was a black lives matter meeting and white folks weren't invited. they didn't say it threateningly. they were cordial. one dude complimented my shades. I smile and walk on.

i'm sympathetic with blm. i'm not one to put myself in another's shoes. i know that from if i'm contemplating where i buy my groceries

Cops didn't enforce the curfew. Looks like it was mostly peaceful last night.
