No, it was more than than that. It was piss poor mental discipline and coaching. Trust me, I've seen a lot of that over the years. You have talent, but it's wasted between the ears.

And to think I was singing the praises of Matt Canada earlier. How did Pitt squander a 13 point lead...?

(I was watching Duke/Notre Dame)

That another reason why I hate the 8pm start on the...Duke was a 21 point underdog on the road and won...we are on the road but a 30 point favorite...nothing is guaranteed

A loss to the Panthers leaves them needing to come up with 4 wins against Florida State, Va Tech, Miami, Ga Tech, NC State, Duke and Virginia or they don't go bowling. That's still possible, but their margin for error would be razor thin.

Wait -- seems like we're talking as if Carolina is vulnerable to PITT despite the fact Carolina has won the last 3 meetings. I'm sure Carolina couldn't tackle tall grass and James Conner was in the 2014 meeting and Carolina still won that one.

ken d -- love you, bruh, but I think you're making **** up for the sake of making **** up. Makes for good board traffic, tho.

Well, you were right as rain. Pitt never had a chance in this one. 04-cheers

That was a great win for Duke. Considering that the team lost their starting QB late during the off-season, then the demoralizing loss to Wake and Northwestern, no one would have blamed Duke for tossing this season as a rebuild season. More than likely, it still is a rebuild season, but to beat Notre Dame at Notre Dame is pretty impressive for Duke. Especially given the athletic disparity between the two teams. Coach Cutcliffe has done a fantastic job. 04-bow

RE: Open Thread 2016 - Week 4
Louisville honestly played their worst half of the season execution wise and they lead 35-7 at the half and out gained them 377 to 74 yards. Marshall's TD came after UofL fumbled a punt and gave the Herd the ball at the Cards 15.

Just hope to have a cleaner 2nd half and get out of WV with no more injuries. Marshall's strategy appears to be hit late & hold so much the refs can't call it all. Not to mention the bush league fans with large signs that would be confiscated at any ACC venue, examples being explicit profanity and making fun of Bridgewater tearing his ACL up in Minnesota. The capper being the 15th string announcers on CBS Sports Network. Talk about clueless and blatantly rooting for Marshall during the telecast. The overall theme of the evening is small time in Huntington, but they're trying their best to mirror their big brothers from Morgantown.

Very nice start for a tough WF team. Beat IU at IU. Good win.

At this point....just hold on to the win and get out of there with no injuries...

RE: Open Thread 2016 - Week 4
How bad is South Carolina? On the season UK had allowed 44 to Southern Miss, 45 to Florida, and 42 to NMSU 03-lmfao. All 3 had at least 500 yards of offense.

Tonight UK beats the Gamecocks 17-10. Only 10 points and 268 yards of offense for SC against probably the worst P5 defense in the country.
