RE: Elizabeth Warren Takes on Wells Fargo CEO
If it was pushed down -- I hope they do.
If it wasn't pushed down -- then average personal bankers are crooks too.
It should be well established already that every large bank leader is like the Billions guy.
We're just too scared of what might happen if we break up the big banks, and also their lobby is too strong for that to happen.

This Senate "investigation" is nothing more than Warren and her colleagues, trying to score cheap political points. But it makes for great theater.
5200 low level employees. Did you even watch the entire video?

I wouldn't waste my time watching that showboating.
Congress is grandstanding
The 5200 employees were the people that did the deed. I haven't seen any evidence that directly links the executives with these alleged indiscretions. If there is, then prosecute. If they broke any laws, then prosecute. Otherwise, it's just hypocrites trying to get on NPR.

So you didn't watch the video. K
Color me shocked that you still feel it necessary to grace us with your opinion.

Watch the video at the link. It's great.
Quote:Facing off with the CEO whose massive bank appropriated customers' information to create millions of bogus accounts Tuesday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren had sharp questions for Wells Fargo CEO John Stumpf. Warren also said Stumpf made millions of dollars in the "scam," telling him, "You should resign... and you should be criminally investigated."
What's Warrens thoughts on Hillary's crimes? Any calls for criminal investigations and resignation?

RE: Elizabeth Warren Takes on Wells Fargo CEO
Another interesting House testimony took place this week, wherein a former executive from CitiBank was grilled over whether he gave back any salary after leading the Citi unti that had multi-billion dollars of losses in 2008 and required a taxpayer bailout. The guest had trouble answering the question and makes every effort to avoid answering the simple question. At one point the former chief operating officer of two troubled Citi units says, “I was responsible for administrative activities, not for designing risk products so let’s just remember what my role was.”
And who pray tell was this former banker? Well none other than Sec Treasury Jack Lew.
Quote:Mr. Garrett (R-NJ) sums up the lesson for bankers when he says that “so long as you’re a high-ranking Democratic official, you can make all the money that you want on Wall Street but if you’re not one of them then you have to play by the rules if the company collapses.”

That is a thing of beauty.
I watched the video. What I saw was a grandstanding demagogue asking leading--and misleading--questions designed not to gain useful and actionable information--which should be the goal of any legitimate information--but to produce sound bytes for use in pushing a partisan political agenda. Fauxcohontas is a dangerous witch devoid of integrity.
