Went on the Houston Scout site, and they complimented our $86 renovation by showing a picture of a line of green Rumpke porta-potties. I think they made their point well.
Not to get off track, but if this is what we get for $86M after expanding by "5,000," what happens if they expand by 10,000...or 15,000? Hmmmmm....
Sorry, when planning the latest expansion, somebody got it wrong.
I think that used to be a womens bathroom.

Has there ever been a thread where you aren't complaining about Nippert, or the administration, or FC Cincinnati in some form?

Yes there has. Plenty, actually.
Really, none of the mundane observations made in this thread would cause consternation in a person of a normal mental constitution.
Over the years, on this and other boards I have been one of Nippert's staunchest defenders, a huge supporter of Ono, and unlike others on this board (and in this thread) I've not suggested that Davenport and Tuberville are deficient.

Really? I don't remember that and I was in the student section.

I think you are now allowed to use the lavatory for whichever sex you feel like that day. So just walk into the Women's singing "I enjoy being a girl". LMAO

Definitely heard and didn't like the FU Houston chant, but 99% of the time the students are a huge positive to the atmosphere. They're very loud. They get excited for our team and they don't take it too seriously and lose their minds if something bad happens.

Bearcatmark has a nasty habit of misrepresenting views and starting unnecessary arguments. Instead of refuting points, he attacks the person. His hot buttons are FC Cincinnati and the student section.

I seem to remember after the Alabama A&M game last year, it was noticed that the women's rooms were mostly empty and the men's rooms had lines out the door. They quickly relabeled a women's room or two to be a men's room to even out the waiting times.

RE: Nippert Experience last night
I brought a tennessee transplant coworker to the houston game. He had been to that 'battle in bristol' the weekend before, so i told him not to let our stadium intimidate him.
he was very impressed with how nice nippert is and how fun the crowd and game was. he was amazed by selling beer inside the stadium! obviously not impressed by the size, but assuming he stays in cincy i think he's now a bearcat fan second only to his vols and will attend both football and basketball regularly.
always interesting to see someone elses opinion. especially coming from an sec school with such an enormous stadium be impressed with uc.
also made me realize how uc games are still somewhat of a secret to many locals who didnt go there.
