Are they even "good" right now? Their game vs. MSU wasn't as close as the score might indicate and Texas barely just squeezed by what looks to be a mediocre Cal team.

Wow. I wouldn't have predicted a day when fans of MAC schools would "deadpan" a chance for any MAC team to beat Notre Dame.

I guess I'm "old school". If you get a chance to play--and maybe even beat--an Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, etc......and yes, even Notre Dame--I don't really care what there record is at that time. That's a pretty big game to get on the schedule. Period.

Who are these 6 top 25 teams you speak of? I count only 4 currently ranked and VT is the only other team receiving a vote (1) in the AP poll. I can't see them beating Stanford so at best I see them going 9-3 and more realistically I expect them to finish the regular season with 7-8 wins.

Miami plays them next fall, it'll be cool to see the red and white in South Bend. If anything it's instant national TV exposure on a Saturday, something MAC teams seldom have.

Damn it, having to root for Toledo to win......
