To see if you get that channel, check here: http://www.csnmidatlantic.com/channel-finder

It shows the JMU game as one of the games when I type my zip code in but then it shows only the UVA game on my programming guide on my TV. I assume this means it's not showing in my region / area?

What's crazy is that I got all of these CSN channels and options when I had DirecTV but now that I have Comcast, I don't get all the Comcast Sports channels... 03-banghead

The Maine football coach's radio show is on Thursday night @ 7pm.

I'm hoping that I am done driving by then and can catch it from the hotel room.

Here is the link, which may need to be refreshed. I found it on the Maine Football twitter account.

I'm sure someone may have answered the question for you already, but FiOS Ch. 578 if you have it, will carry the game. At least that's the channel number for me in the DC area.

So if you follow that link and scroll down to the upcoming events section, it has a thing for "Maine Football vs. James Madison" and it doesn't have an "Audio Only" tag that a lot of other links have. Does that mean that Maine will be offering video for the game?

I simply took it a step further. The third one down is the video so I clicked on the link.

Well there we go! I'll have to listen to the Maine announcing crew but I'll take that over no video any day.

Because Maine is not a member of the CAA but rather only a member of CAA Football which is a separate charter, like all such members, they are not part of the CAATV deal.

Interesting. I didn't even think about that. I figured CAAtv was tied in with CAA Football as well. It's kind of stupid that it isn't part of the same deal because football is what the vast majority of people are going to tune into an online stream and watch. You'd think that the CAA would have worked something out with the associate members to cover all the football games.

I'm fairly certain Streamerlauncher didn't mention anything about winning and/or losing, he is merely stating what all know will come to fruition, there will be no one there to verify who has won or who has lost the game. If you can't convince at least 8K fans to enter the stadium for a late September game, why then is JMU coming to Orono, ME?

agreed - especially playing against an upper echelon ranked team... maine athletics should be pulling all the stops to get a packed stadium.

before I proceed - I'm SQUARELY in the FBS at ALL and ANY costs camp... but while we have to be in FCS, I do appreciate that we play teams named maine, delaware, new hampshire, villanova... much preferred over campbell, drake, morehead, furman, mercer.

and yes I realize that for every delaware and new hampshire there is an elon and a stony brook.
