Hire a bunch of interns????

The thing about hiring interns is you need students that are interested in being hired for the job.

I find it hard to believe they don't have any students interested. Class credit, amazing experience. Wouldn't be where I am today without working there for 3 years

I'm not disagreeing with that. Which department did you intern for? Marketing?

No, it will never replace my Black Lives Matter flag.

HA! I still didn't get mine--I went to the booth outside the stadium near the end of the game, and I was told I had to go to the Convo Center at 6pm to pick it up...I couldn't go before the game as I was late getting there---and I was in no mood to go to the Convo Center after the game---I've bought cars quicker than this...I'll try before the next home game---oh well this is all just so typical.

Oh come on guys ...Quit whining. Many on here have been season ticket holders for years and never got jack as a gift. We need to consider ourselves lucky they give us anything the past 3 years or so. As far as them not having them last week - they probably ordered in plenty of time & the manufacturer/ specialty advertising company dropped the ball. Why assume it was NIU? These things happen.

Get to the game early enough to get your FREE GIFT or call & ask them to mail it to you.

I picked up mine yesterday & it is very nice. Well worth arriving in DeKalb 30 min. before kickoff. ;-)

RE: Free NIU car flag as a gift?
For those who weren't aware, Keith Harris, Jr. was handing out the flags. I spoke to him and he mentioned that he never fully recovered from his ACL tear. He said he was helping NIU athletics to maintain his scholarship. He noted he only had a couple of classes left to get his degree in accounting. He seemed like a great kid who had some tough luck on the field.

Was he the guy in the white and blue striped shirt? I think I saw him on the sidelines later on in the game. He was very nice and efficient at handing out the flags.
