Big 10 and acc need to reshuffle divisions to balance things. Msu to the west, Purdue to the east. Acc shouldn't have Clemson, fsu, and Louisville in the same division

I don't know if I'd put Louisville that high.

My money is on #5 or #6.

That said, blowouts can be difficult to judge when it comes to the fallout. The obvious question is, was FSU really the second best team in the country?

RE: Week 4 Projected AP Top 10. What say you?
You can definitely make the case that Louisville is the best team in the country at this point, but playing within the understood parameters of the polls, it's hard to punish Alabama for beating a top 20 team on the road. Even if you think they're overrated, Ole Miss at their place is a good win for everyone else in the poll. Bama shouldn't be penalized because the expectations for them are so high that they get docked for it.

Most likely they're top 3, either 2 or 3, depending on how much weight you give Ohio State's win at Oklahoma, which was more impressive by stats and polls than Alabama's, but against an opponent that is more suspect (two lopsided losses to ranked teams, one rout against a low-tier FBS team).

I'd say 1. Alabama, 2. Ohio State, 3. Louisville but I wouldn't rise up with fists if the order was different.

But the fact is Louisville has clearly dominated their competition so far. In my opinion they should be #1. But they are clearly a Top 3 to 4 team.

Wins over Charlotte and Syracuse show precious little.

I don't doubt that the blowout home win against #2 FSU is impressive but saying that makes a number 1 team seems like a huge jump.

I knew you would say that. Bama played sorry against WKU, beat a bad USC team after struggling with them for a quarter and a half, and was 21 pts down to Ole Miss. Bama competition so far this season may be just a tad better than UL but the Cardinals haven't struggled and has clearly dominated their inferior competition.

An argument for UL can easily be made right now for them to be #1 but obviously that will not happen.

One thing for sure....Alabama will not be unanimous #1...know for sure Louisville got at least One 1st place vote...came a long ways since the 1980s playing in a rundown Triple A Baseball Stadium...

Not sure what you find funny. Nick is clearly not happy with the way Bama is playing so far this season and in partcular the way they have started their games. USC is a bad team. Ole Miss is 1-2. Yes Charlotte is worse than WKU but Syracuse and USC is a wash and FSU is better than Ole Miss. Oh, now I see why you were laughing....lol
