Hey Volkmar, I know your disappointed with our team right now and with all due respect, I disagree. Gifted would be two fumbles in the end zone. We still had to get the football from to the fumble into the end zone. If their defense was worth a damn, that wouldn't have happened. Though we EARNED short field touchdowns we still earned them. That being said I also will reserve the praise until we can prove on the field we belong any higher then mid pack of the conference (which unfortunately after this weekend isn't saying a whole lot).

I think USTA wins that game if your coach had played to win instead of not to lose. Once you got conservative with the offense it put way too much pressure on your defense. I don't expect to see the meltdown like almost beating zona. If confidence stays high I think USTA has the potential to get the most growth out of their team than anyone in CUSA this year.

I'm praying that's autocorrect messing with your post but please, UTSA is the correct acronym. We're not a Tennis Association. Oh, and thank you for the kind words. I hope so too

We just face one of the best QB's in the college football. TT has scored 50+ at home 8 straight games against #3TCU and #12 OSU, if anything it should make our defense stronger. No other QB in CUSA will be anywhere close to what we saw from Mahommes, so I like our chances. Defense needs to focus on making tackles and we will be fine. Take out all the confusion in the first quarter cause by all the crossing routes and its a ball game. Bad defensive game plan also, we should have rushed more and put pressure on him, instead of playing prevent and still giving up the big yardage plays.

Texas Tech was a buzz saw. And we ran straight into it.

They are on offense but not very good at all on defense

Zero teams need to be recognized after this.

Pathetic comes to mind for rest of conference

Who exactly has Western beat that is so good?

RE: Week 3 Power Rankings
Probably our bowls teams:

1. LA Tech 1-2- Doing more then most of us so far.
2. WKU 2-1- A closer win then expected.
3. MT 2-1- Solid win over a respectable MAC program.
4. S. Miss 2-1- Close loss to an improved Troy team.
5. UTSA 1-2- Could and should have been a big win.
6. Marshall 1-1- I'll give them the benefit of the doubt... this week.

These teams could make a move:

7. ODU 1-2- Looks like a respectable loss to NC State.
7. North Texas 1-2- The defense looked good. Still looking for the offense.
7. Rice 0-3- Gave Baylor fits at times.

Time to start building for next season:

13. FIU 0-3- 8 point loss, but still 0-3.
13. Charlotte 1-2- Lost to EMU. That's all that needs to be said.
13. UTEP 1-2- I don't think Army has scored that many points since WWII.
13. FAU 1-2- Crushed by KState.

Correction, Rice is 0-3.

Guess you just forgot about the team 100 miles south of you. I'm thinkin after we beat La Tech Saturday; we are going to avenge our loss to you Toppers from last year and extend our overall superior record over you at our place. We'll see whether you still say "Zero teams need to be recognized after this."

We're about 8th in the worst conference of all time, the 2016 edition of C-USA. Our offensive coordinator is clinically insane.

I agree with you on Vanderbilt, but Troy is a true unknown and Akron is back to being Historically Marginal again that got lucky against a team that decided to phone it in for some strange reason. 07-coffee3

Until we show that we have any sort of competent offense, I will refer to our own team as FAU wls. We need to earn that "O".

RE: Week 3 Power Rankings
1. WKU. Taking care of business.
2. La Tech. This week (vs MT) will be telling. Hard to know with 2 tough teams and 1 easy team so far. Should be a good one!
3. MT. Solid win this week. Vanderbilt loss has me confused.
4. S. Miss. A step back this week.
5. UTSA. Nice showing against Ariz St
6. Marshall. Apparently a lot of talent. Not sure what happened vs Akron.
7 - 13. And the rest.

1. WKU. until someone in conference knocks us off
2. La tech Played some tough games and was very equal on the field with them
3. UTSA. I'll know after they're next game who they really are ( looked damn good the other night against ASU)
4. Middle Tennessee. Come back from the implosion against Vandy but defense needs help
5. USM. Nick Mullens just didn't look good against Troy IMO
6. Marshall. Only really this high is because everyone else is just that bad right now
7. Rice. Played pretty tough schedule and army is better than most gave credit for
8-13. Sucks balls right now ....I mean damn.....
