No offense to Iowa, but number 13?

Early season rankings are useless. Florida State #2? Iowa # 13?

Why bother with sports if you don't enjoy competition? I know, it's not the "power" way of thinking. It's not good enough that they have several times the resources, more scholarship athletes, the home field, and probably referee bias.

Unless cupcakes are all they want to play, Iowa just isn't that good given the circumstances. Certainly not as good as the ESPiN hype machine would have you believe.

Yeah the Cyclones suck in football, but the Hawkeyes are insufferable with their B10 snottiness.

Has nothing to do with the P5... put them on your own schedule and see what happens. They are FCS in name and in name only.

I was being facetious more than anything, but seriously. We all know why teams schedule FCS teams, and it ain't for the SoS bump.

Can we just invite North Dakota State if we lose a team?

Shouldn't have any polls for the first four weeks. Would prevent a lot of the weirdness and built in pre-season bias.

I personally want them to keep the polls. That is why it is so epic when something like this happens.
