Out at GW as of late last night. Kevin Sutton (JMU alum and former G Town assistant now at Pitt who interviewed for JMU MBB job) rumored to be in the mix to replace him.

Lonergan once was discussed as a JMU coach when they hired Brady. Also famously yelled at Humpty Hitchens during a JMU GW game a few years ago.

Independent report came back regarding the allegations that he mistreated players and said insensitive/inappropriate things to players and about administrators. Even when referring to opposing players. Some suggestion that there may be more there and this is the tip of the iceberg in terms of issues with the program as a whole.

Another guy in the mold of Bobby Gonzalez (formerly at Seton Hall) and Mike Rice (formerly at Rutgers). Those two were a piece of work.

When the article came out there was a interesting reaction in the DC area. Some players came to defense but wasn't overwhelming it felt like

I'm far from being on the PC Police team but I listened to him a couple times on the sports junkies (who are close to him because he was a teacher in high school) and he came off as a complete douchebag. He always came off that way. Humpty probably had good reason to get in his face. That little guy was popping off the entire game. I was hoping Humpty would knock him out. He's an arrogant prick and on top of everything, he refused to play JMU. The one game we got was scheduled before he was hired.
