Yes it may be sour grapes.....but it sure feels good to see the Big 12 get screwed again yesterday (Texas/Cal game).

They will be left out of the playoffs again this year...as no one else from that group is good enough to qualify this year. So they can't go with the "we don't REALLY have to expand..." rhetoric that we've been hearing.

Ummmm the only team that would change what is going on is Houston and I doubt they would have made it through the big XII undefeated. Expanding would have only made them weaker on paper.

How were they screwed?

Cal player celebrated early and dropped the ball before entering the endzone.
A Texas player picked the ball up (rolled into the endzone)...but the officials claimed that they didn't.
The play SHOULD have been a touchback...but they gave the ball back to Cal at the 1.

Texas player picked up ball but it never downed it so unless he runs it back it was not considered clear recovery.
