good stuff GS, keep winning till you see us, and great performance by ULM tonight, made this way closer then I thought it might be.

I certainly hope that ULM goes up a few notches in everyone's conference power rankings. This is a team that most of you called the worst in the conference...we knew better...and the Warhawks went toe-to-toe with one of the top dogs in the SBC on their home field.

Lots of lousy calls against both sides but this was a great game.

Warhawks had the ball for only 18:23 of the game and put up 350 yards offense and three TD's on GS. The Eagles got their rushing yardage...no surprise there...and showed that their tradition is something they defend.

We snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. That was the dumbest series at the end of the game I have seen. Run up the middle, run down the clock, and kick the chip shot FG.

Good game ULM, I feel that we got very lucky. You guys sure get fired up to play at our field, the 2014 game was a barn burner too

I think we are back to being a decent SBC team, however I hate losing games on dumb play calling at the end. Not to take away anything from GS. Congrats on the win.

Arrowhead agrees with me. The management of that very last set of downs gave a probable win away. You evidently think emotionally, not probabilistically.

It's almost like we didn't expect to win at the end. You run it up the middle 3 times and if you don't score kick the chip shot.

I can't stand this offensive scheme. Little to no misdirection. Just standard zone read double option stuff. We are much easier to prepare for now.
