Also, I had a great time at the game despite the loss. Our boys fought hard. Our offensive coordinators had no clue. Not the players fault.

Punters were atrocious.

Other than that, I think we did well. Defense played well.

Stadium improvements were great. Loved the new store. Great selection.

Loved the beer, as did everyone with me. The lines need a few more checkouts for speedier service.

Everyone with me commented that the facility looks much improved.

In the third segment of the MOB's show, I would have loved to see a "no means no" joke at Baylor's expense instead of the "[k]nowledge" one. If the title IX stuff got to them, imagine the reactions to that.

However, I could easily see that one getting nixed by the higher-ups. Can't be hurting too many feelings.

Overall, pretty solid MOB show.

As for the stadium improvements the athletic folks busted their butts this week. The Biden speech really impacted not only the VB tourney, but also the activities of marketing and others. They did a good job pre-selling parking as by Thursday all West spaces had been sold.

Rumor (and I do mean rumor, as I'm now 10 years and 12 hours removed from being MOB drum major and helping write the Todd Graham show) is that while there wasn't any express censorship, the higher-ups had made it known not to get too close to the line. The Ken Starr shot was enough and made the point, with Hit the Road Jack the appropriate song to play for him.

The MOB was excellent. All hats off to them. Getting lots of big time publicity. Certainly more prominent than our football team's performance

And it didn't stop after the game. Shu was doing personal surveys after the game about how things had gone, areas for improvement etc

I wished the coaching staff worked as hard

My favorite response has been along the lines of, "don't worry, Baylor's not really offended, they all looked the other way".

Agreed on the MOB. However I'm unfollowing and no longer paying attention to the Chronicle Yahoo that only retweeted negative posts of the performance. If y'all want to support that guy so we can get more posts from him, fine. Unfortunately, he turned me off tonight so forget him.

Props to the MOB. Michael Corleone quality beat down. BTW anyone else think Jim Grobe is basically Bailiff with better talent right now? Baylor has looked terrible all 3 games this year.

MOB still needs to grow its numbers. I have no idea how, but the numbers still seem so anemic to me. But I agree that the script was good.
