How in the world would conference have anything to do with it? With Cal, we averaged over 17K a game in CUSA. If FB won like that we would average close to capacity.

How in the world would conference have anything to do with it? With Cal, we averaged over 17K a game in CUSA. If FB won like that we would average close to capacity.

I guess our fans are not remembering all the Nation Championships we have played for in football and all of our MAJOR bowl victories.

Our fan-base is far above average for the history of our program, people that try putting down our fans are mistaken, if they think that criticizing our fan-base will inspire it to larger numbers... , well I don't want to say what they are , I'm trying to be nice

Memphis had the 3rd best average attendance in the G5 last year & that's counting BYU as a G5 school. Saturday weather called for rain, it was an 11AM kickoff & it was muggy & hot as hell - playing zero & forever winless Kansas. That is not a combination to bring fans to the stadium. We'd all love 60K every game. Give us some top OOC competition & you'll see that sort of attendance. Or at least schedule these Sept - Oct games at night so we don't need the HARVEY team on alert to get though the game. And yes I was there, like very home game. So if I can travel from ATL, folks in the Memphis area could too..........
