How do you define immediate?
He was posed the question.
He stared blankly for what seemed an inordinate amount of time. Clearly thinking through his briefings and what not that is done for all these shows.
He then asked, not with a sheepish shrug or a "help me could you rephrase that question" kind of response. But with incredulity, "what was/is Aleppo?"
Stunned silence from the 4-5 person panel. I mean what do you say or do with a Presidential candidate who responds to a question about a current event, tied to major foreign policy, etc .like that?
Then the host, Morning Joe, weighed in taking his time framing his question. Maybe buying time for Johnson to interrupt with an admission, or "Hey, gotcha! Y'all thought I was serious there. So let me explain ..." But the host had to protect the integrity of the show, his panel and least of all himself and ask WHY would anyone who doesn't know what the heck Aleppo is, was or represents in a bigger picture thinks they should be seriously considered to be Commander in Chief?
Johnson then continued with his vapid talking points. Seemingly oblivious to both the damage done and continuing to be done. It was like watching a train wreck in slo mo.
So how do you define immediately again?
