Cuse Goes Kentucky
Bluegrass...they tore out a Field Turf practice field and is laying Kentucky Bluegrass. IMHO this is the best grass for paying sports on. They still have three other outside field turf fields.

They should make the field Orange, similar to Boise State's blue field 04-jawdrop

Actually what they need to do is get some AC

Questions for Syracuse fans. When will the Carrier Dome renovation begin? And when will it finish? I read all basketball and football games will remain holding in Carrier Dome while the renovation is going on.

But then what excuse would the opposing players have for cramping up?

Obviously said tongue-in-cheek.

Cheers,
Neil

No official word yet as to when it will begin or end. But you are correct that the plan is to be able to continue to use the Dome during construction of the roof. Something along the lines of building the new roof over the current roof and then removing the current roof when the new roof is done. Then they will work on the interior of the bldg during off season as well as the exterior. The dome is getting a total new makeover. It wont even be the same bldg when all is said and done.

There is no scenario where using the phrase "Going Kentucky" is a positive.

You have to have Louisville in the middle to make it a positive.

Next year probably either March or Mid May...yes there will be AC

They plan to keep all the FB and BB games in the Dome.
