Stanford penalized for two NCAA violations
I just received an email from my alter-mater, Stanford, disclosing two Level II NCAA violations (termed "major", even though they appear minor to me). Stanford will be "penalized" (penalty undisclosed) and fined $5,000.00. Supposedly, they are Stanford's first ever violations.

I greatly admire Stanford and hold it as one of Rice's best models to follow.

In all probability, Rice , sooner or later, will also have a similar slip.

Hopefully, these violations pale in comparison to what has been going on at ESUs across the country.
