Houston is brining their pep band. Just for educational purposes, they'll pretty much play this tune throughout the whole game tonight (sort of how Oklahoma plays the same tune over and over again).


Let's kick their butts and make their trip back to Texas a long one.

I took a half day. Leaving work at around noon to head down. Gonna visit the republic tailgate at some point and probably just wander around drinking. Maybe catch the music and the catwalk.

Incredibly pumped for this one. Hoping for a close, hard fought game if we can't pull of a victory. Definitely don't need to see a blowout tonight... Although a blowout in UC's favor wouldn't be all bad

Jason Williams tweeted that the C-paw in the middle of the field will be painted for tonight's game. Guess they finally realized how horrible that looked as a cutout.

Didn't know if anyone heard on Mike and Mike this morning, but they were talking about the 3 big games this weekend FSU-UofL, OSU-OU, MSU-ND. But they made a comment how the weekend starts with a really good game tonight!

Opposing team bands are given very little opportunity to play their stuff. They can march around at halftime, but that about it. Otherwise, wish them luck playing over City Barbeque ads.

I checked Emily Post for the answer but was unsuccessful.

What time is it socially acceptable to have the first adult beverage on a Thursday game day when a top 10 team is coming into Nippert for a nationally televised game?
