The board isn't the same without their fans around. The trash talk and general banter are great when they are around but then when they aren't contending for the top they all disappear. Makes me wonder what will happen to GS and App St fans when one of them has a down year.
We are only two weeks in and most teams haven't played a conference game but you would think there are only two weeks left and the season is over.

Most of the Cajun fans that interacted here stopped several years ago. Just a handful now. Many of us still aren't sure what to expect of this years team. Even our own board is much quieter than normal.
Some Rage Pagers are blaming their SBC affiliation for their lack of winning. I hope this GS offense can work out the kinks for ULL. I want App and GS - the FCS move-ups with cooties - to be 4-0 against the mighty "we had 4 winning seasons in a row!" Leopard Cajuns.

LOL. Now I know that you don't really ever get to RP, because if you did you'd see those folks are the most po'd that we are not where we should be. And our AD is by far, far, far the most to receive blame for any of our woes. Hud and Marlin get their fair share of guff too. Frustrating for us because we have everything needed to be further along than where we are.
Maybe because there are no UL mods on this board has impacted the number of fans posting here? Hard to tell why more of us don't post here.
we had 3 or 4 Red Wolves fans, and you know who you are, who spent the entire Spring and Summer telling everyone on this board about the greatness of Ark State, and how the rest of us were lucky just to be in the same conference with them. So Its hard to feel any sympathy for them if they catch alittle grief 2 games into the season. Honesty, I think they have a lot more problems then their 2 game losing streak, and us giving them grief.
I dunno if I'm among the 3-4 you are referring to, but just for the record even if we go 0-12, I will continue to expound on the greatness that is Arkansas State

I know there was IndianBird and Seminole, but Seminole isn't a Red Wolves fan, well, he's just Seminole. Who were the other two? ASUWon maybe? Are you really going to let a couple people affect how you feel about us as a whole? Were really swell guys and gals.
However, we have sucked it up pretty bad so far, so we do deserve some grief. We are a little confused and completely unsure what we have as a team this year. I have no idea if we could run through conference again this year, or be like 2014 and have 3 or 4 conference losses. Hopefully we will start looking like our better selves on Friday.

I have no doubt the majority of Ark State fans, are good people no worse or better than any other fanbase in the SBC. Unfortunately, you had a very small minority who spent the Spring/Summer representing your fanbase in less than a flattering way. In the grand scheme of things, its no big deal, but they had to know if you talk that much trash for that long, and things don't work out as you preached, then you might catch alittle grief.
As I have said before, I don't mind it that much. It's more fun being in a conference with someone besides App State who feels like they should beat you.

When I get annoyed is when people act like GS fans are the only one who like to do victory dances on this board.
I respect GS talk for the most part because when they lose, they step up. No excuses. No injury stuff...no shoulda beat 'em....no off day....just good game congrats we suck today.
So when they win, the talk doesn't bother me that much.

I feel no sympathy. If anything, the more I read about the people who wish for a close loss, the more I feel the desire for them to lose like they did to Toledo in every game.
