I'd like to see Memphis get in the running for another hometown kid. The last Millington kid played pretty well for our Tigers
Has he committed to anyone yet?
Don't think so

We don't really seem to recruit Millington kids for some reason.

maybe because they haven't won a game in 3-13 in their last 16 games and their closest game this season was a 21 point loss

Thats because they usually aren't very good
If they were they'd get "moved" to East or Hamilton

Millington might not churn out D1 players consistently, but there have been some good players that have come from Millington over the years. Marlon Barnes, Ahmaad Galloway, Tyrone Calico, Alan Cross just off the top of my head. All 4 of those guys eventually made NFL rosters. I'm not sure any of these guys were recruited by Memphis, Cross walked on as a long snapper and I don't even think he was an invited walk on.

Yes and he's still there. His nephew is on the Togets but hadn't seen the field behind Sam. Lakeiron Garcia.
Ps.... Millington has always had some of the best running backs in the area as long as I can remember.
And their head Cush is a firmer Trojan and Played safety at Memphis. Chris Micheals

Did Tim Michaels play college ball anywhere? He was Millington's QB my freshman and sophomore years. Probably hard to get any looks as Millington's qb back then when coach Harrison hated "throwing the ball around" but I think he also played cornerback on defense and was a pretty good athlete.

I never heard of any Millington basketball players getting moved to East or Hamilton, back in my day it was Bolton where all the good Millington basketball players got "moved" to. Sylvester Gray was the biggest name but there were many others.
