Why do you hate Bridgewater? From most accounts he is a pretty likable guy.

I think this week will give a better picture on that talent...or decision making. No question the talent is there. Decision making is still in question. At least for me.

As we saw with Mike White...he can make great decisions vs Rice and slow DB's. Still unproven vs speed in coverage. Not comparing the two players...just the speed each QB has faced.

I though Jackson was high on most of his passes last week and if you do that against a good defense they get returned the other way. But Jackson is a fun player to watch....

will make most defenses look bad

I hope you're right. I want FSU to stomp the dogsh-t out of Louieville.
Why Beed? It's better for CUSA if Louisville beats fsu ... Then we get a chance to showcase the conference...and if we win... Wow! And we've had much luck with the cards in recent...well.. Relatively recent history..

Might be A psychlogical advantage...although slim... We might match up well with them... Our linebacking corps is fast... Our de's are big... And fast... I'm not sure we win, but we will put up one helluva fight...

I completely understand why you want Louieville to beat FSU. If i was a Marshall fan i would too.

Here's my deal. I was born in Orlando. Parents split up when I was 5 and I moved to KY with mom. But visited my Dad and his fam in Orlando every summer. Still have tons of cousins and aunts and uncles down there.

I loved reading the Orlando Sentinel as a kid. Great sports page compared to the BG Daily News. I became a Seminole fan because I read up on them when Bobby Bowden became coach. They had sucked. I had 2 uncles that were huge Gator fans. Used to ridicule me about the Noles. But every year under Bobby we got better and better. FSU in the early 70's is not the FSU people know now. Bobby built them into a road power because that's the only way he could play the big boys.

I still pull for the Seminoles. If they were playing Western I'm pulling for Western. If they play anyone else I pull for them. Plus I have a good friend that wears me out whenever the Cards actually beat us. I want to be able to wear him out after this weekend over his beloved Cards.

If Louieville were playing any other power than the Noles I'm pulling for the Cards. Can't do it this time. Sorry. I still hope Marshall beats the dogsh-t out of the Cards no matter what their record is.
Makes sense... 04-cheers

I don't hold anything against him personally. I just think he's overrated. Minnesota fans are now acting like he's the second coming. I will agree that he is good, but not as good as some claim him to be. I don't think he's a great passer either... I don't know theres just something about him I just don't like. When he got hurt this year everyone acted like he died... Many players tear their ACLs, but I do hope he recovers fully and can play again because I would never wish harm on anyone. I apologize if I'm coming off as a little ridiculous but I haven't really liked him since he was coming out of Louisville, and he hasn't done anything to change my opinion on him since then.

I guess hate was a strong word. I just don't care for him lol

We've heard we didn't have a shot at beating Louisville the last four times we have played them. We've beat Bridgewater, we've beat Redmen, I understand Jackson and this bunch are a different Louisville team, a team that seems to be top to bottom one of the most talented the Cards have ever had. But, don't expect any Marshall fan or player to just roll over and accept a L. We know it's going to be an uphill battle, would be one of the biggest wins in school history, but it's in our house and we have a pretty good history of finding ways to win at home. Win or lose we won't get beat by 56 points, that's for sure.

When your team's biggest win is Georgia State you have to be a straw man when talking smack.

Charlotte football smack? Really.

Anyway, I'm extremely pumped for Louisville. Living in Kentucky, a lot of Louisville fans have been surprisingly humble when talking about the Marshall game.

I wonder how many Herd fans still have a "grudge" over Louisville seemingly backing out on our Rakeem Cato led top 25 season?

Not gonna lie, I'm still a little miffed by it.

If you inferred me explaining that we had knocked off UofL 4 times in a row when we were big or decent underdogs as me somehow putting Marshall among the greatest college football programs of all time, then you are probably one of those insecure people always afraid your wife or gf is cheating on you because you read WAY too much into things.

Beating Louisville 4 times straight doesn't even get you close to the Pantheon of college football.. But, compared to UNCC, maybe it does.
