How Bill Clark Approaches a Football Season with No Games
http://www.alabamanewscenter.com/2016/09...all-games/
The article mentions that Clark expects the football building site to be fenced off and the construction trailers to arrive on Friday.
It also looks like he's making the rounds on the speaking circuit this week. He spoke at the Housing Authority's golf fundraiser today, he's speaking to the Rotaract Club's luncheon on Thursday, and he's speaking to the B'ham police academy graduates luncheon on Friday (which is open to the public at the BJCC).

RE: How Bill Clark Approaches a Football Season with No Games
I don't have inside info , but I really believe FBHC Clark likes having until 2017 to "load his weapon" in the hunt for a conference championship. As with any coach, he would probably like to play a schedule this year, but since he can't, he makes the best of it. There are players who need the time to get their personal act together and show they can become a team player on the field as well as off it. I have genuine belief that Clark will succeed with those players he has brought into UAB's family.
