Rice's Week in the NFL
Vance McDonald just caught a TD catch. This looks like a big week for Owls in the NFL.

RE: Rice's Week in the NFL
McDonald and Willson caught 2 passes each.
Covington had 2 solo tackles and 2 assists.
Gaines had 4 solo tackles.
Callahan played but didn't record any 'counting' stats.
Not sure what all Taylor got to do.
Boswell hit 5 XP's and a 46-yard field goal (no misses)

Rice's Week in the NFL
Taylor was not targeted in the Broncos' 21-20 win

RE: Rice's Week in the NFL
Taylor did get more playing time than I would have expected (and a couple of Denver's receivers have minor injuries so I would expect he'll get a catch in one of the upcoming games).

It's also pretty obvious than just about every one of the teams the Rice guys play on are decent and playoff contenders (all but Callahan). And somewhat obvious to me that we need to get back to the point where we can recruit solid NFL talent like this again on our current Rice roster.

But did get a shout out from the announcers who also added when complimenting Bryce's good coverage that Bryce was "from Rice University right here in Houston."
