Cowboys
19-20 losers to the Giants.

Same song, different year.

Redskins game is now a must win.

RE: Cowboys
That makes no sense at all.

Dallas beat the giants on opening day last year and 2 years before that. In fact, that was the first time EVER the giants beat the cowboys on opening day.

You are either trolling or just plain clueless.

Either way its some funny stuff.

Down this way they referred to that game as "the ole miss-state game".

RE: Cowboys
Dez cannot have an off game like that. Dallas must focus on finding some space for Ezekiel Elliot...he didn't look like a really good back yesterday....I just hope that was an abberation.
Dak impressed me. Don't think he took a sack...which is a credit to the gameplan and the offensive line.
The defense did enough to keep them in the game....will need some of the offensive starters to step up a bit....Dez/Zeke to be a success this year. Cole Beasley did all he was expected to and more. Nice to see some teamwork with Dak and Whitten...

Dak is clearly the future franchise QB. Hard not to to be impressed with him at this early stage.

Both Dak and Zeke Elliot have their first games under their belts now. They are going to get better every week. Elliot missed a lot of the preseason due to a hamstring, he is probably still getting comfortable.

Most people totally overreact over week 1 when someone doesn't look like a HOfer already. I'll be stunned if Zeke Elliot doesn't have several big games this year.

I think the entire NFL would be.

the 2nd string running back they signed that played with Washington was getting better yards than Zeke was.
I don't ask for Zeke to be able to bust out 150 yards...or even be Emmitt Smith...just look like he belongs. Yesterday, he didn't.

Alfred Morris is an NFL veteran who has multiple 1000+ yard seasons. Zeke Elliot was a rookie making his NFL debut after missing most of the preseason with a hamstring pull.

It would be rather silly to draw too many conclusions after 1 single game.

Going to be an interesting season.

RE: Cowboys
You can play the moral victory card all you want, but this defense is horrible. We also have about $30 million a year in a quarterback and a receiver who were either not on the field yesterday or completely MIA. We have two second-round stud defensive linemen who can't play because they're suspended.

I like Dak, and I think he will be a fine NFL quarterback. Thank God we have him because our #1 guy will have trouble staying on the field the rest of his career. I also liked Zeke on a couple of plays, particularly the TD run. However, it was clear that Morris was running better for whatever reason and our coaches pulled him.

I would send Terrance Williams packing today. We can trade him because he has some ability. Maybe the rest of the league won't see the replay of our last play and not know how stupid he is. Maybe we could get a defensive player who can make some tackles on run plays up the gut.

didn't Terrence have a similar bone headed play like this a few seasons ago that cost us a game?
This is where I miss Jimmy Johnson....he'd cut someone in a country minute to prove a point.

I'm glad you enjoy it.

Games like yesterday make me question why I continue to follow this team.

I'm not saying JJ cares more about face time than he does about winning, but it sure gets hard sometimes to argue against that notion.

RE: Cowboys
Alfred Morris and Dez Bryant would be good fantasy picks on paper today for you fantasy nerds.

Morris will be juiced to show out against his old team, and he looked more comfortable than rookie Ezekiel Elliott last week. They may split the carries today, depending on who gets off first.

The staff will also be looking to get Dez more involved early and will probably have him in the slot and moving around more in different formations. Expect some quick throws and short passes to get him going.

Dez HAS to show up today. The Redskins going to a no-huddle will give Dallas' defense fits...they are still too green

I don't think showing up is the best way too put it. Dez always shows up ready to play and gives maximum effort. It's a matter of holding onto the ball all the way to the ground.

Hes already off to a good start today. So is Elliott.

I agree.

I didn't get to watch live, but looking at the highlights it seemed like Zeke was starting to get his legs when he got the drops. Maybe next week is his coming out party.

Can't help but think we'd be 2-0 if our two starting defensive ends were on the field the last two weeks.

4-1

Ezekiel Elliot leading the NFL in rushing, Prescott has yet to throw an INT.

Romo will be back. If he sustains another injury, he needs to retire.
I do see Prescott as the future qb for Dallas, though.
He has gotten more comfortable with the team, and I suspect Jerry will start rebuilding the o-line for him.
